Your Wedding Day is one of the most important days of your life. A day full of romance and memories that you'll want to treasure forever. Why not add even more to the magic by travelling to or from your wedding in your very own personal helicopter?

Despite its glamorous image, flying by helicopter costs much less than you may imagine and is a realistic alternative to hiring a limousine. A Helicopter Flight will add the ultimate touch of style to your arrangements!

Rise Helicopters' tailored Wedding Flight Service is designed to meet your unique needs on your special day. Our friendly team will work with you to ensure that you make an unforgettable entrance or exit from your chosen venue at exactly the right time. We'll also arrange the Flights Schedule with you to make sure that your photographer has plenty of time for photographs; and that your spectacular arrival and departure are captured forever on your wedding video!

You'll be flying in one of our Executive Bell Jet Ranger Helicopters; these Charter Helicopters have the seating capacity for up to four passengers. However, if the bride is flying and is in full bridal attire then you may find it's more comfortable if you limit your passenger numbers to three.

Your Tailored Flight Plan

Your Charter Helicopter will be assigned to you for a minimum of one hour. This will include the flight time used to fly the aircraft from our airfield to your first venue and back to the airfield from your final venue; and the flight time between your chosen venues, such as the church and reception. We'll work out in advance how much flight time will be used for these essential journeys. Any time left over in your allotted hour is yours to use any way you choose, and your pilot will be happy to fly you wherever you want to go. For example, you may want to have a sky tour of the local area prior to arrival at your final destination. We'll be happy to advise you of landmarks and points of interest that you may like to fly over, and take you there to enjoy a bird's eye view.

To make the flights even more enjoyable we can arrange for special items such as champagne, cards, gifts and flowers to be placed in the helicopter ready for your arrival.

So with all the details taken care of, you can relax - and really enjoy every minute of your flight!

Costs

Our Helicopter Wedding Flight Service is available from just £740 + VAT per hour, with a one hour minimum. A 25% deposit will secure your booking with the balance due seven days before the date of your flight.

Rise Helicopters also offer a special Platinum Wedding Charter Package that includes a stunning hand built artist Wedding Bear, a bottle of Vintage Champagne, a £100 voucher for use at a luxury Spa and more..

Any landing fees charged by any of the landing sites you use will be extra, and it's well worth establishing the cost of any fees in advance. If you're using the landing site for your wedding or reception, we recommend that you approach the venue directly to gain landing permission, as you may well find that these fees will be waived for you.

Once you have initial landing permission we'll take over the arrangements from you and finalise any details - all this will be explained at our Flight Planning Meeting, when we will focus on providing a truly personal service that you expect and we demand. We are more than happy to come to you if requested and there will be no charge for the Planning Meeting as we believe it is fundamental in providing a top quality service.

Weather

We pride ourselves on providing you with a Personal Wedding Flight Service that covers all eventualities. But unfortunately even we can't provide a watertight guarantee for the weather! We do recommend that you have a "back -up plan" for transport if poor weather conditions prevent us from flying. This doesn't happen very often but in the rare event that it does you would receive a full refund.
